The DOT Hazardous Materials course will be held at Cobb County Department of Public Safety Training Center (CCDPSTC), located at 2109 Valor Drive, Marietta, GA 30008.   Member companies are encouraged to send individuals to this training event. 

This will be offered (FREE) on October 19, 2010 to all paid members of the Resource Council. You can send as many people from your company as you like. The class will start at 8:30 and end around 4:30.

This class is for anyone that ships or receives hazardous materials. DOT requires that anyone involved in the transportation of hazardous materials (clerks, warehouse personnel, drivers and supervisors) be trained in the DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations.  This class will cover the IATA regulations also. Each participant will receive a training manual and upon successful completion of the course a Certificate of Completion. This training satisfies the training requirement of every 3 years for both first time and re-certification.
